MEET THE MOMPRENEUR

DEAREST FRIENDS

YellowLemonLine

Five years ago I branched out on my own, one hundred percent. It did take a little push, a lot of courage and multiple notebooks full of other's successes and failures, but in the end it paid off.  Before I took my leap, I soaked up teachings from mentors and educators like a sponge and gained experience by linking arms with a fortune 500 hundred company, and then ventured to help several healthy start-ups’ gain their exposure.  Once I got my feet wet and really explored this amazing entrepreneurial world, I quickly realized there were so many other ways I could share my gifts. There was so much more I wanted to offer to you that could give you a boost in your business or simply help sort your daily life.  Either way, I'm so happy to be a part of your journey.

It tickles me to know what is on the other side of success for you.  When you put in the work and do something different, you'll begin to see different results. I am here to encourage you and help you grow.  Yes, we'll start with organizing, discuss living and work environments and how they can help or hinder your growth, and we'll get you on the path to succeed in any industry. When you believe in yourself and have an attitude of gratitude, you'll start to see multiple blessings coming in your direction.

With Lemon Lines organizing life and work is as easy as 1, 2, 3 and A, B, C. Lemon Lines lends a hand with tips and tricks to make life and navigating your entrepreneurial endeavors a breeze. Now for the sweet scoop on how this bowl of lemons was formed...

I grew up in a home where my parents started their own business, putting in the hard work and long hours to make my childhood one to remember. They established their company in multiple cities, including Los Angeles, and continued to thrive for over 25 years. While my parents proved that a college education wasn't necessary to succeed in life, my Grandparents and Uncle made furthering my education sound so pristine and useful. So that's what I did. I went to college. My educational background and work experience include: Advertising, Graphic Design, International Business, and Business Consulting with a main emphasis on Marketing Strategies. When I’m not using my degree, my hobbies include: volleyball, drawing with my son, interior design, creating and crafting with my hands; from cooking to sewing, to reupholstering furniture and painting. I'm truly blessed.

In 2007, I started a business consultancy and design agency, called Tenleaf Studios. While I tinkered with the idea of it becoming my grand, New York loft, "successful-business-woman" gig, I put everything on hold to gain experience in marketing for other companies and entrepreneurs.  It wasn't until four years later that I would go out on my own, 100%. Today, Tenleaf remains a huge passion of mine because it is, and forever will be, my baby.  However, once I got my feet wet and thoroughly explored this amazing entrepreneurial world, I quickly realized there were so many other ways of sharing my gifts and there was so much more I wanted to offer, specifically to women who were stuck in that same old boat.

The summer of 2012 I started to organize everything in my life, from A to Z. This definitely had something to do with the nesting period I was going through, as I was expecting my first child in November of that same year. Not only was organizing on my brain, but every act and good deed of a 1950′s housewife excited me. I was (and still am) constantly on the hunt for new recipes - I love cooking, I want everything in the house clean and organized (computer files and car included), and I love the smile on the faces of my family when they walk into a beautifully organized and well designed home.  Don’t get me wrong; there is still a huge difference between myself and a mid-century housewife.  I do much more than just play house. However, there is something about a simplistic, domesticated life that leaves me feeling satisfied and grounded.

Rather than keeping my work and love of hobby’s separate, I realized by combining my background and a few of my favorite things together, life could become much more exciting and entertaining while earning an income. *Zing! Zip! Zest!* Lemon Lines was born. Lemon Lines has now become the place where I get to share my passions and creativity within the home and in business. What’s the best part you ask? I get to help others, pass on incredibly handy tips and tricks, and boost businesses; all while letting you know what works and what may need more work.

I'm so grateful that you are here and allowing me to be a part of your journey.  I cannot wait to see what's in store for you! I promise to bring in some fun surprises along the way (and apologize in advance for slipping hints as to what those surprises may be)!

quick facts

I WANT TO DANCE WITH SOMEBODY

YellowLemonLine

I like to dance anywhere I am; at my desk, in the kitchen, in the car.  Dance parties are a frequent event at our house (even if it's just me).

I'VE GOT THE MUSIC IN ME

YellowLemonLine

Not musical gifted whatsoever, but music is a soul food to me. It picks me up, motivates me, and helps with my memory - in that I know the lyrics, artists and names of too many songs to count (a bit entertaining and extremely handy on trivia night!)

CHRIST

YellowLemonLine

I've been saved by Grace and do my best to love people the way Christ loves me.

CHIPS & SALSA (AND GUACAMOLE)

YellowLemonLine

There is something about mixing tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, and cilantro together that makes such an amazing snack. There's always room for chips and salsa.

(Guacamole too!)

SURPRISE!

YellowLemonLine

I love surprises! (and love giving surprises, but get so excited that I give hints while i'm holding out for the big reveal.)  So I'm terrible at keeping my own surprises but thoroughly enjoy being surprised myself!

SLOPPY CHILD = ORGANIZED ADULT

YellowLemonLine

Riddle me this - I was the sloppiest, most unorganized child. Today, if cleaning were an Olympic sport, I'd take down Danny Tanner.

BUMP. SET. SPIKE.

YellowLemonLine

I grew up on the volleyball court and still play today. Funny - no matter how long I'm away from it, I pick up where I left off - kind of like riding a bike.

DISNEY PIXAR WINS MY OSCAR

YellowLemonLine

Disney Pixar flicks are the most enjoyable type of movies because they aim to captivate two audiences; the adults through storyline and inside humor, and the kiddos with amazing visual effects. #impressive

ENTREPRENEUR AT HEART

YellowLemonLine

L<3VE helping others flourish in their business(es)!  Whether it's design, strategy, organization, interior design, or helping others build residual income, I love it all. #helpingheart

NEW TERRITORY

YellowLemonLine

Doing something for the first time or seeing something new thrills me.  My latest adventures include seeing the Northern Lights, riding an elephant, and going to the Grand Canyon. What's next?

LOVING LOVE

YellowLemonLine

Love is most important. If nothing else, remember that.

Caribou

YellowLemonLine

Did you say white mocha? Decaf, skim, no whip please!

Notebooks

YellowLemonLine

A good notebook, just the right size, a one for every subject - ok, I'm obsessed with them especially when they're really cute. Luckily, I put together one - that's right, I use ONE notebook - called, AG365.  It's put all of the others to shame.

Thank You Notes

The art of the hand written note has almost gone extinct thanks to texting and emails.   So i've made it my mini mission is to revive the art of sending a handwritten thank you note.  That little personalization goes a long way.

Motorcycle Rides and Classic Car Drives

YellowLemonLine

Anybody know what I'm talkin' about? You must be out of your ever-lovin' mind.

Being grateful for all you have and all you get to do.  It's a huge key to this big pie called life.
